Cribbage Square

This game is played with one standard deck. Goal of this solitaire is build 8 hands of 5 cards to score 60 points or more. Place sixteen cards from the waste into an empty space in the cribbage square. Once placed card cannot be moved. After 16 cards are put into place, a seventeenth card used as Starter. Each row and each column then forms a cribbage hand counting the Starter as the fifth card.

Scoring is based on unique combinations of cards in the hand:

"Pair" - two cards of the same rank - 2. "Pair Royal" - three cards of the same rank - 6. "Double Pair Royal" - four cards of the same rank - 12. "Run" - each combination of three or more cards in sequence - 1 per card. "Flush" - four/five cards of the same suit in the Hand - 1 per card. "Fifteen" - two or more cards that total fifteen - 2. "Nobs" - a Jack in the hand of the same suit as the Starter - 1. "Starter Nobs" - Starter is a Jack - 2 per hand.
